Soccer Recap: Georgia-Cumberland Academy Takes a Loss

Georgia-Cumberland Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Pinecrest Academy Paladins, falling 6-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pinecrest Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 back in February.

Gabe Franz and Maximo Ramos scored both of Georgia-Cumberland Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Pinecrest Academy, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Cherokee Christian on the 27th. As for Pinecrest Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against St. John Bosco Academy on the 27th.
