Soccer Recap: Woodside Find Success

Woodside kept a clean sheet against Aragon on Thursday. They beat the Aragon Dons by a goal, winning 1-0. The Wildcats wouldn't have won without Mariam Yusuf, who scored the game-winner.

The win made it two in a row for Woodside and bumps their season record up to 8-3-5. As for Aragon, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodside will take on Homestead at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Woodside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Aragon, they will face off against Sequoia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aragon's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
