Hickory Ridge won the last time they faced South Iredell and things went their way on Friday too. The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls were the clear victor by an 88-64 margin over the South Iredell Vikings. Given the Ragin' Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Vikings are ranked 477th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, South Iredell still got an impressive performance from Tyrin Mann, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds. That's the most points Mann has posted since back in December of 2023.

Hickory Ridge's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for South Iredell, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Hickory Ridge has already played their next contest, a 73-67 defeat against Lake Norman on the 4th. As for South Iredell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-36 loss against Mooresville on the 4th.
