Softball Recap: Howe Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Howe's offense. They fell just short of the Latta Panthers by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Howe's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Latta, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Howe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 defeat against Roff on the 20th. Latta has also already played their next contest (against Hobart), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
