Softball Recap: Weld Central Rebels vs. University Bulldogs

Weld Central had lost five straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 9-11 to make it six. They came up short against the University Bulldogs, falling 16-6. The Rebels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Rylee Blair made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Weber, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

As for University, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games.
