Volleyball Recap: Murphysboro Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hamilton County

There's no place like home for Murphysboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hamilton County Foxes on Saturday.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22.

Murphysboro's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Hamilton County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 13-9 record.

Coming up, Murphysboro will take on Herrin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton County, they will head out on the road to square off against Vienna at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
