The Murphysboro Red Devils topped the visiting Hamilton County Foxes volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Red Devils confront the Herrin Tigers (Herrin, IL) in a Southern Illinois River-to-River Ohio game, on Tuesday, October 7. Murphysboro will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 7-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL).

With the loss, Hamilton County drops to 13-9 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Vienna (Vienna, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4.
