Texico is a perfect 6-0 against Loving since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wolverines will host the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Loving took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Texico, who comes in off a win.

Texico is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Jal 49-0 on Friday. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Cross Figg produced another solid effort rushing for 228 yards and three TDs on only ten carries, while also throwing for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. His longest rush was for an incredible 89 yards. Jaheim Moses was another key rusher, gaining 80 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Texico was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 400 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Loving's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a blow against Eunice, falling 56-6. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Loving's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Texico, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Texico has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 217.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Loving struggles in that department as they've been averaging 148.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Everything came up roses for Texico against Loving in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 52-0 victory. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
