            Softball Recap: Pueblo County Hornets vs. Northridge Grizzlies        
        
		
        
        
            Pueblo County owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top against the Northridge Grizzlies by a score of  5-0. The  victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won four in a row.

 Kylie Paradiso looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Pueblo County let  Isabella Mares and  Brooklyn Markus run wild. Mares  went 1-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI, while  Markus  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mia Sisneros, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  double.
Pueblo County's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
 Pueblo County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  a  9-7  victory against Cheyenne Mountain on the 17th. As for Northridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  9-8  win against Thornton on the 17th.
