Prospect has gone 8-2 against Wheeling recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will challenge the Wildcats at 4:45 p.m.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wheeling, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Rolling Meadows 9-8. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Wheeling, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Everything went Prospect's way against Wheeling in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Prospect made off with a 9-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
