Baseball Recap: Pepperell Comes Up Short

Pepperell lost against Bremen last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pepperell Dragons fell just short of the Bremen Blue Devils by a score of 9-8. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hunter Godfrey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Tucker Glenn, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Godfrey wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Pepperell lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Pepperell's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Bremen, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pepperell beat Bremen by a score of 13-0 later that day.
