Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Knights vs. Chavez Titans
The Stone Ridge Christian Knights lost against the Chavez Titans back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Stone Ridge Christian fell just short of Chavez by a score of 36-34. Stone Ridge Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mikyla Beene, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Beene scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Bella Ewing, who scored nine points.
Stone Ridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Chavez, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-8.
Stone Ridge Christian and Turlock will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Turlock is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. Chavez and Stagg will face off at 11:30 a.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Stagg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Friday.
