Volleyball Recap: Moapa Valley Pirates vs. Pahrump Valley Trojans
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Moapa Valley had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Pahrump Valley Trojans by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory two weeks ago.
Moapa Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22.
Among those leading the charge was Chloe Dalley, who had 16 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.
Dalley wasn't the only good servers: Moapa Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. The Pirates are 10-4 when they serve at least ten aces.
