Soccer Recap: Peach County's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bainbridge, Peach County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Westover Patriots by a score of 3-1. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Peach County's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Westover are ranked 386th).

Peach County hit Westover with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Trejin Britt, Micah Griggs, and Adan Cervantes.

Peach County's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-4. As for Westover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Peach County will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Monroe at 7:30 p.m. Peach County are facing Monroe at the right time seeing as Monroe are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Westover, they will face off against Dougherty at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westover will be up against Dougherty's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.81 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
