Basketball Game Preview: Vacaville Christian Falcons vs. San Juan Spartans

The Vacaville Christian Falcons will head out to take on the San Juan Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Juan took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Vacaville Christian, who comes in off a win.

Vacaville Christian will head into Friday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 36) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-25 win over Mesa Verde.

Meanwhile, San Juan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Lindhurst and fell 53-18. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1320th, while the Blazers are ranked 642nd).

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Vacaville Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Vacaville Christian took their win against San Juan when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 44-19. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vacaville Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
