On Saturday, Bloomington North got the win against Indian Creek by a conclusive 9-3. Considering the Cougars have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Gibson Southern fell victim to Evansville North and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Huskies. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win made it two in a row for Bloomington North and bumps their season record up to 17-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Gibson Southern, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-6.
