Soccer Game Preview: Echols County vs. Atkinson County

Echols County hasn't had much luck against Atkinson County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Echols County will square off against Atkinson County at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Echols County comes in on three and Atkinson County on ten.

Last Tuesday, Echols County got the win against Lanier County by a conclusive 4-1. Considering Echols County have won six games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Lanier County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fidencio Vazquez (2), Manni Lopez, and Rodolfo Vazquez.

Meanwhile, Atkinson County kept a clean sheet against Brooks County on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. Atkinson County's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matches.

Echols County's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Atkinson County, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
