Basketball Game Preview: Littlerock Lobos vs. Antelope Valley Antelopes

The Littlerock Lobos will challenge the Antelope Valley Antelopes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Littlerock has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with 24 straight defeats, while Antelope Valley will come in with seven straight victories.

Last Thursday, Littlerock had to suffer through a 75-0 loss at the hands of Eastside. The match marked the first time this season in which the Lobos were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Antelope Valley hadn't done well against Knight recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Antelope Valley took their contest with ease, bagging a 73-27 win over Knight. The Antelopes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Antelope Valley had a senior duo take command as Ariana Soil posted 27 points and Niya Price earned 26 points. Soil's evening made it 28 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Leandriah Zachary, who put up 13 points.

Antelope Valley pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Littlerock, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Littlerock was dealt a bruising 75-19 defeat at the hands of Antelope Valley in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Littlerock was down 44-7.
