Basketball Recap: Tucson High Magnet School Badgers vs. Sunnyside Blue Devils
The Tucson High Magnet School Badgers can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 77-41 win over Sunnyside. The victory was familiar territory for Tucson High Magnet School who now have 19 in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tucson High Magnet School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xavier Grajeda Cruz, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Bernal, who scored 12 points.
Tucson High Magnet School pushed their record up to 23-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for Sunnyside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.
Tucson High Magnet School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sunnyside will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
