It was a good run, but Eastwood unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 51-38 to the Coronado Thunderbirds. The Troopers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunderbirds earlier this season, when they won 35-28.

When it comes to explaining why Eastwood lost, don't look at Devin Falk-Ramirez. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points. Another player making a difference was Julien Falk-Ramirez, who put up eight points.

Coronado was led to victory by Cason Golding and Roberto Lopez. Golding scored 13 points and five boards, while Lopez had nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Diego Dalla Pozza was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Eastwood's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-6. As for Coronado, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

Eastwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-28 win against Montwood on the 31st. Coronado has also already played their next matchup, a 49-37 victory against Socorro on the 31st.
