It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Beech Grove can now relate to. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shelbyville Golden Bears on Thursday.

Beech Grove has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13-2 record this season. As for Shelbyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Beech Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shelbyville, they will challenge New Palestine at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Bears 3.5, the Dragons 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
