Soccer Recap: Anderson vs. Durham
Anderson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They never let the Durham Trojans onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.
Anderson hit Durham with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Emelia Jones (2),
Dayanara Lupercio,
Taylor Dormer, and
Sigourney White.
This is the second loss in a row for Durham and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they challenge Gridley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Durham, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Valley at 3:30 p.m. on December 4th.
