Hayfield barely beat Wabasha-Kellogg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings never let the Falcons get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Hayfield now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Hayfield will square off against Southland at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rebels' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Wabasha-Kellogg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
