Masterman lost to Abraham Lincoln back in December of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Masterman walked away with a 40-31 victory over the Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters. The win made it back-to-back victories for Masterman.

Several Railsplitters players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Simone Smith, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haja Lewis, who earned seven points.

Masterman's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Abraham Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Masterman will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Imhotep Charter at 3:15 p.m. on January 8th. Abraham Lincoln also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Penn Treaty at 3:15 p.m. on January 8th.
