Ware County came tearing into Friday's matchup with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Warner Robins Demons a 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ware County's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Warner Robins, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
