Recap: Duarte Falcons vs. Nogales Nobles
It was a good run, but the Duarte Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Nogales 51-46. Duarte has struggled against Nogales recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nogales to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordin Glass, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shady Robles, who scored 16 points.
Duarte's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Nogales, they pushed their record up to 6-10 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Duarte will face off against Workman at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nogales, they will head out on the road to face off against Sierra Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Sierra Vista focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
