Recap: North Monterey County Condors vs. Notre Dame Spirits
There's no place like home for the North Monterey County Condors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Notre Dame by a score of 41-29 on Monday. For North Monterey County, this counts as revenge for the 38-33 loss Notre Dame walked away with the last time they faced one another on January 4th.
Notre Dame lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Francesca Rossi, who scored eight points along with two steals. Rossi has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Aalyssah HuiHui-Martinez was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two blocks.
North Monterey County pushed their record up to 6-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Notre Dame, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
North Monterey County will head out on the road to square off against Pajaro Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Marina at 7:00 p.m.
