Softball Recap: LaFayette Ramblers vs. Northwest Whitfield Bruins
LaFayette waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Northwest Whitfield Bruins. The result was nothing new for the Ramblers, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Marlie Day looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Emma Parker and Bralie Blevins did most of the damage at the plate: Parker went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Blevins went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
