Baseball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Perry can now relate to. They came up short against the Highland Hornets on Wednesday, falling 8-1. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Perry has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for Highland, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4-1 record this season.

Perry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Highland, they will take on Washington at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
