Recap: James Logan Colts vs. American Eagles
In what's become a running theme this season, the James Logan Colts gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat American 73-31 at home. Winning may never get old, but James Logan sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
James Logan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vanessa Parilla, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Cierra Gallardo was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why American lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nasana Shrestha. Despite the final result, she scored six points.
American struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as James Logan pulled down 13 offensive rebounds.
James Logan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for American, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
James Logan will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Irvington will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for American, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
