Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McClymonds). They enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over the Elite Eagles on Saturday.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Teddy Cooper, who posted nine points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ma'Kai Little, who had seven points in addition to six assists and six steals.

The win got McClymonds back to even at 2-2. As for Elite, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. McClymonds will face off against Encinal at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Jets have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Elite, they are taking a road trip to square off against Leroy Greene Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
