Recap: Galeton Tigers vs. Austin Panthers
This season hasn't been kind to the Galeton Tigers, who are still winless after their fifth match. They were outmatched by Austin on the road and fell 46-7. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Galeton in their matchups with Austin: they've now lost six in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Galeton lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Addison Reigle. Despite the final result, she scored five points. Reigle scored a full 71.4% of Galeton's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Galeton's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Austin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Otto-Eldred the next time they take the court. Galeton will host Otto-Eldred at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Austin will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
