Soccer Game Preview: Tri-Center vs. St. Albert

Tri-Center is 0-8 against St. Albert since April of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Trojans will face off against the Falcons. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Tri-Center made easy work of AHSTW and carried off a 5-2 win. That's two games straight that Tri-Center have won by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, St. Albert hasn't lost a match since April 28th, a trend which continued in their latest game two weeks ago. Their defense stepped up to hand Treynor a 3-0 shutout. St. Albert might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by three goals or more this season.

Tri-Center pushed their record up to 8-7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for St. Albert, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2-1 record this season.

Tri-Center suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to St. Albert in their previous matchup on May 9th. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
