St. Joseph waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victor by a 64-42 margin over the Western Beaver Golden Beavers. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Spartans just coasted through the last quarter.

St. Joseph is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Western Beaver, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will host Sewickley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Joseph knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Sewickley Academy likes a good challenge.
