It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Temple had no problem doing just that on Friday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Tigers who were credited with the victory. The Temple Tigers got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Jasper County Hurricanes's two. The win was familiar territory for Temple, who have now won three contests in a row.

Jalen Wirth was the driving force of Temple's attack as he scored both of Temple's goals, bringing his season total up to 28 goals.

Temple's victory bumped their record up to 10-8-1. As for Jasper County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.

As of now, neither Temple nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
