Baseball Recap: St. Francis' Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

St. Francis was handed a ten-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They skirted past the Chattahoochee Cougars 5-4. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Chattahoochee, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-14.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will face off against King's Ridge Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chattahoochee, they will be playing at home against Mount Pisgah Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
