Volleyball Recap: Olathe Northwest Comes Up Short

Olathe Northwest and Olathe West squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Olathe Northwest had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in October.

Olathe West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grace Yeager, who had 14 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Yeager has posted over her last nine matchups.

Olathe Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 30-11. As for Olathe West, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-7.

Olathe Northwest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Mill Valley on the 1st. As for Olathe West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Blue Valley West on the 1st.
