Basketball Recap: Centre County Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Centre County Christian Academy lost against Columbia County Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Centre County Christian Academy took a blow against Columbia County Christian, falling 60-4. Centre County Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-4.

Ashleigh Boudman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Columbia County Christian, putting up 23 points. With that strong performance, Boudman is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Willa DuMond, who posted ten points.

Centre County Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Columbia County Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Centre County Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Johnstown Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for Columbia County Christian, they will be playing at home against Belleville Mennonite at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia County Christian's defense has only allowed 22.1 points per game this season, so Belleville Mennonite's offense will have their work cut out for them.
