Softball Recap: Guardian Angels Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Guardian Angels Central Catholic was the 10-0 winner over Boone Central when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bluejays fell 8-5 to the Cardinals on Monday. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avery Kaup made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. Josie Ritter was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Boone Central, their record is now 13-11.

Coincidentally, Guardian Angels Central Catholic and Boone Central will both be playing St. Cecilia the next time they take the field. The Bluejays will host the Bluehawks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
