Softball Game Preview: Bethel Wildcats vs. North Rock Creek Cougars

The Bethel Wildcats will take on the North Rock Creek Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bethel barely beat Davis the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wolves a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won eight games in a row.

Meanwhile, North Rock Creek made easy work of Vinita on Thursday and carried off a 13-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly 13 runs.

Bethel's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for North Rock Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 24-6.

Bethel came up short against North Rock Creek in their previous meeting back in September, falling 6-3. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
