Baseball Game Preview: Jones County Greyhounds vs. McDonough Warhawks

For the second straight game, Jones County will face off against McDonough. The Greyhounds will face off against the Warhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jones County has three straight wins, McDonough has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, Jones County got the win against McDonough by a conclusive 17-2. Considering the Greyhounds have won 12 contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jonathan Scarbary, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Landen Wilson was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Jones County's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for McDonough, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
