Recap: Aquinas Falcons vs. Arrowhead Christian Eagles
The Aquinas Falcons stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Arrowhead Christian 60-25 at home. The victory was nothing new for Aquinas as they're now sitting on four straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aquinas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Breanna Bates, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Madeleine De Kodia, who scored seven points along with six steals.
Arrowhead Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Aquinas racked up 16 assists.
Aquinas is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Arrowhead Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-5.
Aquinas won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Corona at 4:30 p.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Corona focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. Arrowhead Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ontario Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th.
