Basketball Recap: Brentwood School Falls Short of Sage Hill in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Brentwood School couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Sage Hill Lightning on Saturday, falling 59-39. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelsey Sugar, who posted seven points and five steals. Sugar is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed five or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lev Feiman, who had nine points along with five rebounds and four blocks.

Brentwood School's defeat dropped their record down to 27-9. As for Sage Hill, they pushed their record up to 22-11 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

Brentwood School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sage Hill, they have already played their next game, a 52-41 win against Windward on the 11th.
