Baseball Game Preview: Langston Hughes Panthers vs. Westlake Lions

The Langston Hughes Panthers will start their season against the Westlake Lions. First pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

While Lions fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They came out on top against Northgate by a score of 7-4 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-0.

As for Langston Hughes, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 6-22.
