Soccer Recap: Galileo Starts Season with Win on the Road

Galileo had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the City Arts and Leadership Academy Hawks as the Galileo Lions made off with a 5-2 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Galileo hit City Arts and Leadership Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isabela Blandino (2), Danika Shulock (2), and Britney Liang.

Galileo will have a chance to go back-to-back against City Arts and Leadership Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
