Mason extended their postseason success on Friday against Kenedy. They secured a 41-37 W over the Lions. The victory was nothing new for the Punchers as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karsen Reyes, who picked up 120 receiving yards and one TD. Reyes really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards. Kenedy also got a significant boost from David Salas, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 101 yards.

Mason's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Kenedy, they moved to 10-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Mason will square off against Refugio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Punchers will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Kenedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
