Volleyball Recap: Old Lyme Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Wheeler on Monday, Old Lyme came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Hale Ray Noises on Friday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Noises this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-15.

Maya LeQuire paced Old Lyme's offense, picking up three kills. LeQuire got some help from Maya Desai and her five assists.

Old Lyme's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hale Ray, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Old Lyme does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hale Ray, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Cromwell on the 27th.
