Softball Recap: Hulbert Comes Up Short

Hulbert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 8-5 to the Webbers Falls Warriors. The Riders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Hulbert's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Webbers Falls, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12.

Hulbert didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-11 victory against Vian on the 16th. Webbers Falls has also already played their next match (against Arkoma), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
