Football Game Preview: Park Wolfpack vs. Roseville Raiders

The Park Wolfpack are taking a road trip to take on the Roseville Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses apiece dating back to last season.

Park came into this matchup off a tough 42-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Coon Rapids by a score of 9-7 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Roseville's offense. They took a blow against Centennial on Friday, falling 36-0. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Cougars are ranked 29th).

Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Roseville, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-6.

Park and Roseville were almost perfectly matched up in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, but Park suffered an agonizing 19-18 defeat. Thankfully for the Wolfpack, Javon Minor (who rushed for 175 yards and two TDs, and also picked up 38 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
