Football Recap: Hanover Park Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hanover Park can now relate to. They took a 26-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Becton Wildcats on Friday. The loss was the Hornets' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Hanover Park still got an impressive performance from Dante Rosato, who rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Rosato is now averaging an impressive 103.6 rushing yards per game.

Even if they lost, Hanover Park's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Nico Malgieri was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three himself.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hanover Park fell to 9-1. As for Becton, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Hanover Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Becton, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 35-0 loss against Madison on the 7th.
